Russia’s ASB Group to build 20 bln rbl sugar plant in 2020

VORONEZH, Nov 24 (PRIME) -- Agricultural company ASB Group, a leading producer of sugar and sunflower oil in the Tambov Region, plans to build Russia’s largest, 20 billion ruble sugar plant in the region by the end of 2020, the regional government said in a statement Thursday.

The plant’s processing capacity will amount to 20,000 tonnes of sugar beetroot per day. (64.0087 rubles – U.S. $1)
